  • Course Maintenance Crew

    Job Description:

    Join our team at Hawk's View Golf Club as a Golf Course Grounds Maintenance Crew Member and play a vital role in maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic outdoor environment, contributing to the overall beauty and functionality of our grounds.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming to ensure the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the golf course.
    • Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and utility vehicles, following all safety protocols and procedures.
    • Assist with irrigation system operation and repair, ensuring proper watering of fairways, greens, and landscaping.
    • Participate in special projects such as course renovations, landscaping enhancements, and event setup as needed.
    • Work collaboratively with the groundskeeping team to achieve daily maintenance goals and uphold the high standards of our golf course.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred, but not required.
    • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including hot sun, rain, and occasional cold temperatures.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
    • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, bending, and operating heavy equipment.

  • Busser / Dishwasher

    Job Description:

    Tail Feathers Bar & Grill at Hawk's View Golf Club is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Busser/Dishwasher. You will support our wait staff, maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas, and ensure a seamless dining experience for guests. Ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and seek to start a career in hospitality.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist wait staff by clearing tables, refilling beverages, and delivering plates, glasses, and silverware to guests.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including wiping down tables, chairs, and countertops.
    • Collect and wash dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashing equipment.
    • Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal in accordance with sanitation guidelines.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations during peak periods.

This entry-level position involves physical tasks such as moving tables and chairs, setting up event spaces according to diagrams, and ensuring that all banquet areas are prepared for guests. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to provide professional service to our guests.

    Responsibilities:

    • Set up banquet areas according to diagrams and event requirements.
    • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and decorations as needed.
    • Ensure that banquet spaces are clean, organized, and ready for guests.
    • Assist with event teardown and cleanup as directed.
    • Work efficiently and effectively to meet setup deadlines.

    Requirements:

    • Ability to work early morning and day hours, including weekends.
    • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move furniture and equipment.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work off diagrams.
    • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
    • Previous experience in event setup or hospitality is a plus but not required.

    Hawk's View Golf Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Horticulturist. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the head horticulturist and grounds crew to maintain and enhance the ornamental areas of the club, prioritizing sustainability and aesthetic excellence. While some experience in outdoor plant care is preferred, we are committed to providing comprehensive training to support your success in this role. If you thrive in a collaborative team environment and take pride in delivering high-quality results, we encourage you to apply.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the head horticulturist and grounds crew in maintaining the ornamental areas of the golf club, including flower beds, gardens, and landscaping features.
    • Participate in planting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and general care of plants to ensure their health and vitality.
    • Help implement sustainable landscaping practices and assist with the integration of environmentally friendly initiatives.
    • Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects and maintain high aesthetic standards throughout the property.
