Opening Day: What’s New at Hawk’s View Golf Club This Season?

As spring rolls in and the snow finally melts away, golfers all around the Lake Geneva area know what time it is—Opening Day at Hawk's View Golf Club.

Whether you're a returning member, a casual weekend player, or a first-time visitor, there's a lot to be excited about this year. We've been busy during the off-season making upgrades, enhancements, and additions to give you an even better golf experience in 2025.

Here's what's waiting for you this season at Hawk's View ⬇️

Both Como Crossings and Barn Hollow are looking better than ever thanks to ongoing course improvements and long-term upgrades:

• We've begun our bunker restoration project, starting with refreshed sand in key areas and a plan to rebuild them one at a time for long-term consistency and playability.
• Cart paths are also being upgraded, starting with some troublesome areas that have been upgraded from asphalt to concrete paths for smoother rides and better durability.

• You'll notice changes right away on Hole 2 at Como Crossings—we're expanding the creek water feature before the green to now include five custom-designed waterfalls, plus a new reservoir between Hole 2 green and Hole 3 green. This not only enhances the visual beauty of the hole but brings a new layer of serenity to your round, and maybe makes you re-think your second shot.

• We're currently working on structural improvements to the main bridge entrance, with plans for a full redesign and rebuild in 2026.

You may remember our new fleet of GPS-equipped golf carts from last season—but this year, they come with some notable upgrades:

✔️ Enhanced seat cushions for a smoother, more comfortable ride
✔️ USB plugs for charging your phone or speaker

*Bonus: We're working on another enhancement, but we've gotta sit tight before we can announce it.

We've put some serious work into Tail Feathers this off-season—and it shows:

✔️ New carpet and updated flooring throughout the dining area
✔️ A refreshed layout and atmosphere that's as inviting as ever

The menu update for 2025 is still in the works, so stay tuned for new dishes and elevated favorites as the season unfolds. Whether you're grabbing lunch at the turn or winding down with a cocktail, Tail Feathers is ready to welcome you back.

🎟️ Events & Tournaments – Almost Full, but Not Too Late

We're thrilled to see such strong interest in our signature Hawk's View events this year!

✔️ Many of our tournaments are already at capacity, but we have a full season of outings to particpate in. Keep your eyes open!
✔️ However, waitlists are open for the Big Cup, Lakefront Birdies & Beer, and the Mole Open, and we encourage interested players to sign up quickly
✔️ Be on the lookout for our fall events, which tend to sell out just as fast every year

✔️ A new pair of hawks have settled in the area, bringing even more meaning to our name
